Looking for a good laptop! - medieval total war macbook -ii -2

Hello, I am looking for a good laptop for games, homework, web browsing, MSN etc. .. The game would play Age of Empires III, Medieval II: Total War, Halo, etc.. I looked at the laptop HP Pavilion dv2899ea publishing Artsist to 880 pounds, the HP dv6799ea for £ 635, the Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 1GB 120GB Combo for 668 euro. Is it a good deal, you know better than I could search the laptops (which do not have enough money to Alienware m15x is) too expensive
